Even AI knows the importance of a truly fantastic portrait, what it’s all about is… well, you. A great portrait or even headshot should communicate who you are and what you’re about. These sessions aren’t about me – they’re entirely centered around you.
The Day Pass doesn’t have a time attached to it, we likely won’t even start by taking pictures. Think of it like hanging out with an old friend, the agenda isn’t the top order of business in fact sometimes these sessions start just by grabbing coffee and figuring out the plan as we go.
The key to capturing someone as they truly are is comfort. As a photographer my job is to make you feel that comfort even if having pictures taken isn’t really your thing. So let’s take it easy… are you hungry? We’ll grab a bite. Have an errand to run? No big deal let’s make it an adventure.
These sessions can be on location, in the studio, or –and this is my personal favorite– a mix of both. By the time we start snapping photos it won’t seem so formal and rigid, allowing you to lean into who you are and not worry about the camera.
